Photography Tip: Add Darkness to Your Photos

Commonality: Conventionally, when we think of lighting, we think of using flash, strobe, natural sunlight, but we often forget to consider creating shadow, lower exposures, or restricting light source as a means to sclutpure our works.  It's a gastalt approach to your picture.

Problem: we have many flat lighting, overall bright photo, non-emotional exposure style

Solutions: find shadowy places, add black boards or v-flaps or flags, find corners, use gobo(maybe), lower exposure, restricting lighting source, paint walls dark, use darker backdrop, move the light source closer
